Gold leaves with attractive purple midribs and stems covered in purple hairs are topped with pale sky blue tubular flowers in late summer. Excellent filler under taller houseplants or brightening a shady spot in the garden. Quickly spreading to form a solid mound of foliage 10" tall and spreading to about 2 feet. Moist well drained soil in part shade to shade, avoid hot afternoon sun. Take cuttings to overwinter. USDA zone 9, protect from frost.
