This clump-forming mint-relative prairie inhabitant is quite fragrant and gently wild in appearance, and a boon for, well, the bees (as well as butterflies, and sometimes hummingbirds.) Mellow hues of pink and purple for the tubular blooms June - September atop 3-4' stalks. Happy with dry-ish conditions or summer water in sun or part shade. Perennial in zone 3.
