A deciduous shrub, reaching to 4-5 ft tall x 3-4 ft wide over time and enjoying bright light to part shade with regular summer water. Blooms on new wood; can be cut back hard in late winter. Frost hardy to -25F, mid USDA zone 4.Ā Sometimes found as H. arborescens 'Green Dragon'.
