Deep red flowers in spring then, with this strain, throughout summer smelling of a rich red wine, sadly more like Elmer's glue with the afternoon heat... can't win them all! Attractive seed pods and lemon yellow fall color. Sun or shade, any drainage, dry in summer USDA zone 7.
