*RETAIL - Agave 'Blue Glow'
Handsome, small agave, its stiff leaves -- to 1-1.5 inches wide and blue-green with red margins edged in yellow and a red terminal spine -- are particularly lovely when backlit. Plants are small, only 1-2ft tall and wide at maturity. This hybrid between A. ocahui and A. attenuata was created by Kelly Griffin. It is solitary, enjoying full sun, good drainage, and little summer water. Frost hardy to at least 15F, mid USDA zone 8, with good drainage, of course, and possibly lower.
