A compact grower native from central Texas to Coahuila Mexico, Buckley's yucca has straight narrow pastel-blue leaves to 2ft. long and only a quarter inch across, edged in curly filaments, giving it a very geometric look. Clumping to only 5 ft. tall and wide, early summer flowers are white tinted with green bells on stout stalks just above the leaves. Tolerant of heat, alkaline soils and periodic drought, these thrive in full sun in well drained soil with occasional summer water. USDA zone 8.
