This Dan Hinkley collection of a species thought to be deciduous is a handsome evergreen with somewhat tiered branch structure, and one inch pleasing olive green leaves on a shrub or small tree to about 15 ft tall and 6 to 7 ft. wide. Excellent screen for sun to dappled shade under story or specimen "lifted" to see the silver bark. Creamy late winter flowers, small but fragrant leading to orange red fruit on female clones.
