Summer flowers are in white panicles on tall stems looking a bit like pampas grass, but more open -- the flowers and foliage creating a lovely presence especially when backlit. Sun to dappled shade. Tolerant of many soils as well as summer drought, once established. Accepts moisture as well.Ā USDA zone 8.
