Large shrub to small tree, to 15ft in 15 years and 30ft eventually, with small pearly pink flowers in mid to late winter, followed by bright orange and red fruits -- food for birds and jam fruit for the enterprising cook. Full sun to dappled shade with good drainage and little summer water once established. Cold hardy in USDA zone 8.
