From a seedling occurring and still dominant at the nursery entrance and admired by the late Dorothy Rodal. Evergreen, to 6 feet or more: we've kept ours about about 5'. Half inch light green leaves faintly edged in pale green and laden in pumpkin orange fruit from late summer through autumn, winter as well if the birds don't get to them first. Excellent as a low hedge. Summer drought tolerant once established. Sun, well drained soil, USDA zone 7.
