This cute little perennial herb from the iris family hails from Venezuela. Wide, grassy, evergreen leaves produce lavender-purple flowers that change to attractive seed capsules. Clumps grow up to 1.5 ft tall. Provide full to part sun with plenty of water. Hardy to USDA zone 9, possibly colder with protection.
