A wonderful evergreen iris native from the Klamath range in southern Oregon to Del Norte County California. Slender leaves in clumps to 1 foot tall and, in spring, golden flowers with a delicate caramel tracery. Very sweet. Best in light shade and well-drained soil with little summer water once established. Frost hardy in USDA zone 7.
