A very nice texture for the shady, woodland garden, in moist conditions -- but not too moist. A bit of drying before watering is welcome. Requires good air circulation as well. Found at 4-6,000 ft elevation in Yunnan, China, these are frost hardy to 0F, USDA zone 7.
