A 2015 Cistus introduction, this a small shrub to about 4’ with a similar width. Narrow, 4-5 inch long leaves streaked and spotted cream, light green and dark green. Maroon flowers appear among the foliage late winter to early spring. A good example of our latest fetishes for the very useful Aucuba. Dry shade to dappled shade, though additional summer water speeds growth. Really great for adding brightness under a stairwell or other dark corner... USDA zone 7.
