Where temperatures don't drop below 25F and plants can be protected from freezing, these are fine in the garden. Otherwise best in pots that winter indoors or in a very! protected garden area. Well-drained soil in sun or shade with little water for plants in the ground, a bit more in containers. Frost hardy to 25F, mid USDA zone 9.
